Tim Tebow Preps for Florida-Miami Game with Swim Race Against Ex-Florida Gator

Tebow, Cielo square off in 100-yard race

Event to raise money for Tebow's foundation as he readies for analyst debut

Former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will be in the spotlight once again this weekend as the Florida Gators take on the Miami Hurricanes in a highly anticipated football game. But before Tebow makes his debut as an analyst for ESPN's "College GameDay," he will be taking on another challenge in the pool. Tebow will race Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte in a 100-yard freestyle race to raise money for his foundation. The event will take place at the University of Florida's swimming pool on Friday, November 25th, at 2:00 PM. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Tim Tebow Foundation, which provides support and resources to children with special needs. Tebow is a longtime supporter of the foundation, and he has hosted numerous events to raise money for its programs. Tebow is a former quarterback for the Florida Gators and the Denver Broncos. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the Gators to two national championships. After his playing career ended, Tebow transitioned to broadcasting, and he currently works as an analyst for ESPN. Lochte is a 12-time Olympic medalist and one of the most decorated swimmers in history. He won six gold medals at the 2012 Olympics and four gold medals at the 2016 Olympics. Lochte is also a longtime supporter of the Tim Tebow Foundation. Tickets for the race are available for purchase on the Tim Tebow Foundation website.
