Per Gessle hints at upcoming solo tour

Roxette star Per Gessle is getting ready to tour.

Per Gessle, best known as one half of the Swedish pop duo Roxette, has hinted that he is planning a solo tour in the near future.

The 63-year-old singer-songwriter revealed during an appearance on Swedish radio show "P4 Extra" that he has been writing new songs and is looking forward to performing them live.

"I wrote a whole bunch of new songs during the pandemic, and I'm really excited to share them with my fans," said Gessle.

When and where will the tour take place?

Gessle has not yet announced any specific dates or venues for his upcoming tour, but he said that he hopes to start performing in the spring or summer of 2023.

He also said that he is considering playing some shows in the United States, where Roxette has a large fan base.

"I've always loved playing in the U.S., and I'm really looking forward to coming back," said Gessle.

Gessle's previous solo tours

Gessle has released four solo albums to date, the most recent of which is "En vacker natt" (2017).

He has also toured extensively as a solo artist, including a sold-out tour of Scandinavia in 2018.

Fans of Gessle's solo work will be eagerly awaiting the announcement of his upcoming tour dates.
