Early Life and College Career
John Maxwell Homa was born on November 19, 1990, in Woodland Hills, California. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he played collegiate golf. In his senior year in 2013, Homa won the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship.
Professional Career
Homa turned professional in 2013 and joined the Web.com Tour. He earned his PGA Tour card in 2015 and has since become a consistent performer on the tour.

Homa has won five PGA Tour events, including the Wells Fargo Championship in 2021 and the Genesis Invitational in 2023. He has also recorded several top-10 finishes in major championships.
