Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
Kevin De Bruyne gave City the lead in the second half, but Real Madrid equalised through Karim Benzema in the 89th minute.
The match went to a penalty shootout, which Real Madrid won 4-3.
The result leaves City with a mountain to climb in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next week.
